In June of 2010, the wall dividing the house was reopened, bringing the house back to it's original state. The second kitchen could now be converted with little effort into a bar for entertaining guests.
Other improvements included a new roof, split unit air conditioners in each room (Panasonic), tank less on demand hot water, built in closets and drawers in the bedrooms, screening on the windows and enclosing the original car port.
Recent major additions and improvements include the swimming pool, full landscaping with drip irrigation, enclosed the patio area with screening and jalousie windows and a second garage with a covered deck with sea views.
Construction is 6 inch solid block (many new houses are being built with 4 in. block to cut costs) and re-enforced concrete.
